Hello All!
One genre of writing/reading that I really enjoy is poetry. I would like to challenge you to write a poem using your name, but with a twist! I would like you to write a poem about your favorite holiday (do not specifically state what the holiday is!) using the letters of your name. Hopefully, by the end of the poem, the readers will be able to figure out what your favorite holiday is...good luck!
My favorite holiday
Really puts me into the holiday
Spirit
We begin by
Having delicious food spread
Everywhere on the table: turkey, cranberries, stuffing
Leaving room for dessert, while
Adding inches to our waists
Never leaving unsatisfied
Can you guess my favorite holiday?
